Buffalo Point was a vision from its owners, Richard and Mo Anderson for several years dating back to the turn of the 21st Century. Richard was raised in Waukomis and Mo was raised in the Ames-Drummond area. Richard and Mo became Sweet Hearts at Waukomis High School after Mo’s family moved from the family farm near Ames, Okla. to Waukomis in the 50’s. Graduating in 1955 from WHS, both graduated from OU in the early 60’s. Mo was a very talented pianist and received a degree in Elementary Education and Richard played Basketball on scholarship while at OU. After college they moved to Ponca City where Richard worked for Conoco and Mo taught school. Later they moved to Edmond and worked in Real Estate. A very successful career resulted in Mo becoming Co-Owner of Keller Williams International Real Estate Corporation in Austin, Texas and now the company has 100,000 agents World Wide. Their vision and dream to build a family retreat where their roots are became reality in 2007 when they purchased 7.5 acres on King Street in Waukomis.
